The way creative cloud's desktop font management works has been incredibly frustrating for years!
With just three adjustments, a lot could be accomplished - and font management dominated by the CC app:
- make the font folders "collapsible" with a toggle - as already described above.
- Make the font list in alphabetical order, so you can find fonts according to a logic
- Implement a search for fonts within the selected fonts
