We have a fix in the upcoming Illustrator 25.4 and is already available on pre-release.
You can download this from the pre-release section of the Creative Cloud Desktop App. Can you try this out and confirm if this resolves the problem for you.
Note: Illustrator should be shown in the prerelease section of Creative Cloud App(Not Beta). If you dont see the pre-release section, you can enroll to pre-release by
1) navigate to https://www.adobeprerelease.com/
2) search for Illustrator CC program and apply.
3) Once this is approved, you will be notified over email and then should start seeing v25.4 in the prerelease section of Creative Cloud App. -
