Export Assets to Library
SCENARIO: I have a project with 25 icons I've created, each grouped (or merged via Pathfinder) individually on a separate artboard, each artboard with a unique name, and each icon on a separate layer with a matching unique name.
ULTIMATE NEED: I want each of these icons to be in a Library for use in other applications, or to share to colleagues.
CURRENT PROCEDURE (A): I drag all of the icons to the Assets panel and export them as SVG files, pre-named using their layer, all nicely and neatly. Then I select all and drag them from the Finder/Desktop BACK onto Illustrator and onto a visible Library panel to upload them to a Library. This creates a perfect library with individual SVG files (rather than bloated Ai files, which will be another feature request coming shortly) .
CURRENT PROCEDURE (B) Select each individual icon and drag it onto the Library panel, one at a time... then edit each asset name manually in the Library.... one at a time.
FEATURE REQUEST (A) Allow the Asset Panel the option to export not only to the local hard drive, but also to export/upload up to a Library of choice.
FEATURE REQUEST (B) Allow user to select multiple assets and drag them to the Library panel simultaneously, but save as individual assets, (Currently the Assets panel allows users to either drag multiple assets as individual assets OR as one grouped asset.) BONUS POINTS: The option to chose the file type when adding an asset to a Library.

Hey, is there any news about this?
The same happens to me and I don't find an answer. I have several icons in XD with a layer's name to recognize which icon is. If I add one by one to my library (or CC library) it works correctly: I have the assets in the library with the corresponding name.
But I need to add several of them as multiple assets. So if a select all of them and add them to the library, the library takes all the icons together as a group and not as isolated assets. Could you help me with this? In fact, what I need is the same functionality of "Assets Export" that you have the option to add assets "Generate one asset" or "Generate as multiple assets" and keep the layer name. Makes sense?
