Selective Sync
I want to have all my files in the cloud but I don't want to sync them all to my desktop computer. I want to be able to sync only the files I need for the projects I'm actively working on.

Please make this happen. I think this is a basic cloud storage function, yet Adobe fails to implement it. I don't need to sync all 100GB to my local drive!
Whenever using a new computer, this auto-sync takes a lot of time. I can cancel it, but it cancel the whole operation, while I only need to sync just a few files. OneDrive or Google Drive can do this and make my work faster for this kind of sync s**t.

It can't be that hard! Christ give me strength! Please Adobe CC, can't you see? We have been begging you on bended knees for years now. BRING – IT – (the f*#k) BACK! We know storage isn't your core business but come on Adobe CC, you're offering Cloud Storage so give us back our local HD space! Are you lazy? Unwilling? Incompetent? All the other kids on the block can do it. You can do it too! You've done it before (see attachment). Go team Ferman! We appreciate your efforts. x

I came here to laugh at the fact this is still not implemented... like everyone else i'm baffled as to how this is not a standard feature for a cloud service!

Without selective sync it is useless to me.

Ha! The most voted idea here, requested YEARS ago, what a joke. It's being so long that I wouldn't even be happy about it if it were real today!

I'm sick and tired of dragging an external USB drive around because my MacBook Pro can't afford to sync 200 GB. Now the drive broke and I have to purchase a new one just because of this. Adobe should pay for it!

All Adobe can say is "we have this on our backlog of features to implement, and our engineering team is working on it; as soon as we hear from them"... it's just pathetic. They have settled on an annual release of software that nobody has asked for, and as a result the absolute ESSENTIAL features like this are in a backlog. It's just ridiculous. Ridiculous company.

The CC Library and Cloud files synchronize independently. This process is visible when unpausing sync when there are changes to the library. There are some devices with a small hard drive that do not support the entire cloud of files. Let users choose to sync pause, library only, cloud files only, or both. While I prefer selective folder/file sync, the option present in this post is an easy alternative for Adobe developers to deploy.

Come on...
This would be a "game-changer" and keep all the computers lighter. -

How is it possible that this is still not available with Creative Cloud? Selective sync is a critical need for those of us working on shared projects. We can't sync all of our files at once and be productive. This should be a TOP PRIORITY.

I want to sync but just not the 200gb files in our team's share folder.
now I have to pause sync because of this but then I can't share anything else with others anymore -

At least let us select manually to opt-out folders for sync! we can keep older projects on the cloud... WHY is this so complicated? I have to pay for an additional account on a file manager and I have 1TB of storage on Creative Cloud that I can't opt-out (because it's bundled) and I don't use, for the lack of features like this one.

OMG Yeah, I'm just going to forget about using Cloud Storage with Adobe. This whole "Feature Request" looks like a feedback box NO ONE checks or does anything about. If you are an employee at adobe reading this. Why are you working there?

Dropbox does it. Google Drive does it. Adobe should do it! This request has been floating around on your forums for so long I think this actually might be a running joke at adobe.
"It's infrastructure week!"
Hey, it's Selective Sync stupid. It's nothing new, just do it already. It's funny to count the number of people who just move over to google drive or dropbox for this singular issue. They exclam it loudly in the forums.

Please add this as soon as possible, it's a must have

I just can't comprehend you removed this feature soo long ago and still haven't been able to put it back in. Certainly now that more and more work is shared between home and office computers.

Lack of selectively syncing files is the sole reason I have not upgraded to more storage space with Adobe CC and continue to use other cloud platforms for file storage, ALL of which have selective syncing. I could easily upgrade to 2TB, possibly needing 5TB within the next year, but refuse to do so until Adobe gets with the program and fixes this major problem, and it is a HUGE problem they are seemingly ignoring. The more bloated Adobe becomes, the more disappointed I am with their offerings. They seem to have forgotten about all us designers that brought them to the dance.

Wow, I'm really quite stunned that this hasn't been added a feature yet. We subscribed to the Cloud a few months ago. It's been a constant game of deleting files to clear space. Please fix this.

Apparently this feature used to exist, Adobe got rid of it and admits in 2016 that "this feature has been overlooked for quite some time" ... and since then it's been on the "ToDo list" and will be looked into "very soon."
Seriously it's being 5 years, possibly the worst software company ever.
