  1. I want to have all my files in the cloud but I don't want to sync them all to my desktop computer. I want to be able to sync only the files I need for the projects I'm actively working on.

  2. A status display of the ongoing up- and downloading is essential:

    • What file is transfered
    • How long it will take
    • Up-/downloading speed
    • Batchlist of the upcoming files to synchronize

Espesially when working in a team and on a tight schedule, I want my final rendering to be processed primary and fast. Adobe CC can't garantee a proper file sync, a transparent process and a stable connection.

Furthermore. My Explorer crashes, because Adobe CC can't even synchronize properly. It stucks, my Explorer stucks and I can't open my file directory, even if I closed the CC. I need to restart then…

  3. Can you please allow me to combine my document cloud files into my creative cloud so I can sync both to my local hard drive. Or allow OneDrive to access my document cloud.

  4. The desktop sync is incredibly slow compared to other desktop syncs that I am using right now (Dropbox, Office365, Google drive).
This makes it completely unusable for me.

Hi Francois, thank you for your feedback. We will keep this in mind as we work to continue to improve our site. Thank you for your patience.

  5. Compare to Selective Sync (requested at the link below) Smart Sync (Dropbox naming) allow to see all the folders and files even if they're not sync locally (so you can search, have a preview…).
And it allows in a right click to quickly bring back the file in local or to put it online.

It will be great to have a similar feature!

Here the Selective Sync feature request:

  6. Currently, we are only allowed to have two devices under one CC subscription. This is a policy issue and not a feature issue. i have one dedicated workstation at the office, one dedicated workstation at home, and a high-end laptop for traveling. It's okay to login in/out as there is only one user per subscription, but it is unnecessary waste of time to deactivate my account on one system in order to then activate my account on another system for a period for of time, then deactivate the system to return to one of my other two systems. Adobe will…

  7. It seems that it is no longer possible to display the files by type. The only possibilities are by date or by name. Please allow it, as it was the case before the current modification.

  9. In cases where the sync process encounters some kind of error syncing a particular file, whether it was on the local machine or a file previously synced file already on the cloud, it often stops the entire syncing process. It would be a better workflow to be able to continue to sync despite any errors and sync files which can.

  11. After installing Creative Cloud on two of my PCs I started to upload files to it. Soon I discovered that a new folder "Creative Cloud Files" was created on both PCs, and everything I'd uploaded to the cloud was also (seemingly) synced to these folders. That defies the purpose of having 1TB Cloud storage. I want to move to the Cloud what I don't have space for otherwise. Opening the "Preferences" page on the Creative Cloud desktop app, I find no way of deciding against syncing files that I upload "back" to my PCs. There's a "Creative Cloud Sync" check…

  12. I want to be able to select specific folders in my computer that I want synced. For example, I might want to sync a folder called "Current Projects" so that I can access its contents from any of my devices. And no, I don't want to open CC and upload each file every single time one is created—all new files created in that project should sync to the cloud automatically. And no, I definitely don't need or want an extra copy to be stored locally in the creative cloud folder. Google Backup and Sync has this functionality.

  13. This has been an ongoing issue since 2015. This forum says it's solved, https://community.adobe.com/t5/creative-cloud-services/creative-cloud-moved-almost-5-000-cloud-files-to-the-trash-automatically/m-p/11311806?page=1#M15024

But it is far from solved. I just spent a significant amount of time on the chat feature with a rep. They cannot tell you why it happens. They cannot tell you how to prevent it. Bottom line, CC is unreliable at best when it comes to file storage. You are better off sharing files on Dropbox or Sharefile. This has caused significant downtime and frustration.

  14. Core Sync uses 99.9% of my CPU on startup, while other Adobe apps are running since startup on the background consuming lots of memory and heating the computer like crazy.

  15. There seems to be a problem in syncing files for a month now. Our file name is correct, our internet is okay.. but we still get problems in syncing.

There is also one time that our folder got duplicated. I tried to delete it but it keeps on coming back.. then when I access the website it says I cannot delete it. I kept trying both ways until I was able to get rid of the duplicate.

Hope you could solve this problem soon. It is eating most of our time.

    Thanks.

  16. I changed Macbook and tried to reassign the manually transferred CC folder in CC preferences, but it just started to reload all my files to the cloud again... I don't understand why it's just not recognizing that files are the same. Okey, then I desided to delete everything from the cloud and sync it all from the beginning, but I just couldn't do that, because after deleting all my files are still at the cloud's trashbin. Well, trashbin's interface shows me 100 files at one time, and proposes me to delete them or restore. I have like 100.000 files there,…

  17. I've spent over an hour trying to resolve this problem and over an hour spent on a brain dead service rep from Adobe.

Why is there even a difference between 'Synced files" and "Cloud documents"?

All files should be synced up to the cloud and locally. That's the whole point of the feature isn't it?

    • Share files via a link directly from the Finder (Mac) or Explorer (Win)
    • Allow multiple files to be shared via a single link
    • Allow recipient to download all files included in anonymous link or download individually - can only download individually now

  18. Fix the ongoing issue on OSX where for no reason CreativeCloud defaults the folder location to the main drive and not the external where the images are stored. This means the main drive fills up quickly and kills the Mac. The folder option is greyed out in the CreativeCloud preferences, this prevent the changing of the location. This is really dumb coding. At least present an option to say yes or no to changing the folder by the application.

  19. Your desktop sync does not work properly. When viewing the files on the web I tried to download it manually. Would be good if I could download the whole folder at one time instead of downloading each file individually. Ideally it would be good if the desktop sync would work so I wouldn't even have to download from the web.
