  1. It would be useful to be able to upload to libraries: workspaces; keyboard shortcuts; defined patterns; actions, and other personalised elements an artist would have set up for their practice, and might need when working on another machine in say a shared studio environment, where the IT manager has everything locked down to basic settings and all files are deleted on shut down, and won't budge or create separate user profiles because other folks keep breaking things.

  2. Many design studios/businesses already have their assets sorted into folders.

To make the migration to CC Libraries easy (and in some cases, possible at all), any folders that are dragged in should be come GROUPS/SUBGROUPS.

How it works currently is that any folders dragged in gives an error about unsupported file types.

  3. Right now - my files appear in Creative Cloud by default ...
I want them to be in the Sync folder (Private link) by default (as an option for me)

    why?

that way - they will auto sync to my desktop and I can pull a copy off to an external drive - so I have my own 2nd copies etc

  4. Currently, we are only allowed to have two devices under one CC subscription. This is a policy issue and not a feature issue. i have one dedicated workstation at the office, one dedicated workstation at home, and a high-end laptop for traveling. It's okay to login in/out as there is only one user per subscription, but it is unnecessary waste of time to deactivate my account on one system in order to then activate my account on another system for a period for of time, then deactivate the system to return to one of my other two systems. Adobe will…

  5. I am outraged that I was forced to save to Creative Cloud in the middle of a project. Now my files are split between my desktop and Creative Cloud and Creative Cloud is not allowing me to download them more than one at a time! How is ANYONE working with this????

  6. Long discussions on community over frequency of CC updates (too many too often) . Do we get one every time one program changes - if so then please combine into a weekly or monthly. A platinum advisor suggests they are often minor corrections after major updates so wait before installing but there is no indication what the updates are. Please make more user-friendly for not-tech users

  7. On my desktop in "Creative Cloud Files," I can create alias shortcuts for files within that folder and everything works fine. But when I switch computers, the alias links are broken and no longer work even though the rest of the Creative Cloud Files sync. Request to sync aliases within CC Files too please, thanks!

  8. A list of files that are currently uploading/downloading / updating with the cloud. With a history of whats has been sync'd. Also a way to prioritise certain files in the list.

Many times I have been waiting around for my CC to sync, without knowing how long its going to take for that specific file to sync. Having a list will show me which files CC is currently working on and for me to bypass or reprioritise certain files which are more urgent than others.

    For examples:
    1. I may have done a large photoshop composition and saved it as…

  10. I've spent over an hour trying to resolve this problem and over an hour spent on a brain dead service rep from Adobe.

Why is there even a difference between 'Synced files" and "Cloud documents"?

All files should be synced up to the cloud and locally. That's the whole point of the feature isn't it?

  11. It is easy to save files in the Creative Cloud. Using those files outside of Adobe application would be a great feature. Like: use those files in Microsoft Office.

  13. I want to be able to select specific folders in my computer that I want synced. For example, I might want to sync a folder called "Current Projects" so that I can access its contents from any of my devices. And no, I don't want to open CC and upload each file every single time one is created—all new files created in that project should sync to the cloud automatically. And no, I definitely don't need or want an extra copy to be stored locally in the creative cloud folder. Google Backup and Sync has this functionality.

  14. This has been an ongoing issue since 2015. This forum says it's solved, https://community.adobe.com/t5/creative-cloud-services/creative-cloud-moved-almost-5-000-cloud-files-to-the-trash-automatically/m-p/11311806?page=1#M15024

But it is far from solved. I just spent a significant amount of time on the chat feature with a rep. They cannot tell you why it happens. They cannot tell you how to prevent it. Bottom line, CC is unreliable at best when it comes to file storage. You are better off sharing files on Dropbox or Sharefile. This has caused significant downtime and frustration.

  16. I am not able to see/upload select folders from external into the cloud. It is not intuitive. The drop down window when clicking the icon in the bar on a mac also does not allow me to access any synced files/photos It only shows 'work' or a few items ive messed with in photo shop. This update is killing me. Also, every time you've done an update the content source changes, Adobe tries to copy its content to the Mac hard drive VS external. This absolutely confuses lightroom and I've had to manually find individual photos to edit from the…

  17. In cases where the sync process encounters some kind of error syncing a particular file, whether it was on the local machine or a file previously synced file already on the cloud, it often stops the entire syncing process. It would be a better workflow to be able to continue to sync despite any errors and sync files which can.

  18. I needed to work on an XD file today, I re-installed Windows 10 yesterday, my CC folder was 100% intact. On re-install of Adobe CC it did, kindly, find my original CC work folder on my D drive (Windows is on C) however it's wiped the whole thing out and is downloading the whole 60GB archive. I mean, what?!

Not to mention I can't even download the one XD file I need to work off from your cloud library as it's a local file (or atleast was) and not a cloud file.

I've been leaning toward Figma for awhile now,…

  19. When people appreciate my Behance projects, or they add them to a moodboard, I get bombarded with notifications from the desktop CC app.
It seems like there should be an option to opt out of these Behance notifcations. Currently there is no way to do so.

If you think about it, the CC Desktop app is all about collaborating and downloading the tools in order to actually make your work. Behance is all about sharing that online with others. They don't need to be forcibly interlinked

It would be great to have an option to turn off Behance notifications from…
