Selective Sync
I want to have all my files in the cloud but I don't want to sync them all to my desktop computer. I want to be able to sync only the files I need for the projects I'm actively working on.

Hey Adobe, it's clear this is a huge need!

Agreed with David below. Can Adobe bring this back ASAP?

It's great to see that it was available until 2016, then removed and since 2017 it's again in the backlog but nothing else happened.
Why do you ignore this feature? It's top rated issue regarding CC libraries and with recent upgrade to 1TB storage, absence of this feature doesn't make sense.

Please add this back. I likewise am struggling to see the purpose of cloud storage of I'm unable to offload data of my hard drive to the cloud. I need selective sync! When will it come?

I'm still shocked that selective sync is not available in Creative Cloud. This is crucial to our workflow. As a remote team, we have to work in ShareFile until Adobe provides this feature. I will add my voice to those who say this is a major problem. ShareFile, OneDrive, Dropbox and a bunch of other cloud-based solutions offer it, so it shouldn't be difficult for Adobe. How can Creative Cloud be so far behind, and why isn't this priority #1?

It blows my mind that this standard cloud storage "feature" isn't available. I've recently upgraded my plan for more storage space with the intent of scrapping Resillio Sync and streamlining everything with Adobe. Obviously this isn't possible, I'll be downgrading. At this point, with Adobe's lack of support for other surely standard features, I wish I could jump ship entirely. Hopefully one day there will be worthy competition to their software, and they'll be forced to get in gear.

We love to have Selective Sync restored.

Why are we still waiting on this in 2020 ??? I'm paying more than 70€ PER MONTH for a subscritption to Adobe CC w/ the increased cloud storage, and yet I'm forced to DELETE files when working on my laptop so I can work properly... The fact that those files end up deleted on my desktop too feels incredibly dumb and not suited for the premium price I've been paying for years now. For a smaller price, Dropbox provides twice the storage capacity and allows selective syncing, as every proper cloud service should. Please fix this.

Please fix this ASAP! Multiple users are suffering from this.

Blimey, still no selective sync since 2017!!!
This is a must for designers with large files that have laptops and desktops on the same CC account.
Platforms like Google Drive, MS One Drive and Drop all have this feature.

My laptop is out of space because EVERY file syncs from CC. I am dead in the water. WHEN is this going to be addressed?? Dropbox and Google allow this... it's basic! Come on, Adobe.

Just adding a voice of frustration to this thread. Not having selective sync renders Adobe Creative Cloud useless to me for remote working. How many years does it take to get such basic functionality implemented?

I've been tracking this feature for...well...since I started paying massively more money for Adobe's "cloud". There's no point to me getting more "storage" space in the "cloud" if I have to have the same space on EVERY machine I plan to use my Creative Suite login on...
Please implement this. The apologies on the other threads where this is reported which detail that "this was lost in a backlog" only serve to show that no one on your team actually feels the pain from this. "Dog-fooding" your own product should be standard, no?

It's certainly inconvenient to choose to sync everything as it is or not at all,
If it is used between an office PC and a home PC, this may lead to the risk of unintentionally copying private data to the office PC.
Considering that, if you can select a folder that can be synchronized, you may be able to use Creative Cloud with more confidence. -

We all need selective sync. Sometimes we have to work remotely on a different computer and there is no point in syncing all the CC documents if you only need one specific project.
C'm on Adobe - is this so difficult to understand that you are impeding our work?

This feature USED to be available but you ASSHOLES scrapped it. Fuck you Adobe. BRING IT the FUCK back!

I need to free up space on my computer, I don't want everything that's stored in the cloud on my machine.
