CC Library freezes and not able to scroll
UPDATE: The issue is not that it freezes but that the visual display of scrolling is not happening. I can make a motion to scroll in the library and visually, nothing changes, but when I drag from the library, it is not the asset that I grabbed that is being pulled, it is the one that corresponds to the location where the scrolling action stopped.
When I open a document, Libraries freezes so I am unable to scroll through the list of assets. I have to quit Illustrator and reopen to fix the scrolling problem. Happens at least once per day.

The issue is now fixed in Illustrator 25.4 that is available in the Creative cloud App for download.

This issue is plagueing V25 since the first day and is the main reason I mostly do not use the new version. 24.x works perfectly, thank you.
I did not expect this pesky bug to come from Adobe and I am really disappointed by the lack of quality from a rather expensive software. -

Bump. Happening still in 25.2.3. If I resize the window different things pop up (probably from ghost clicks that were made before). Nothing is able to be selected.

Still happening. I waste about 1/2 hour per day because of this issue.

I have to restart at least twice a day because of this bug. It would be nice if you would fix this problem already. It makes the library useless.

@Mariia - I have to say that this is not an 'inconvenience'. This is having a huge impact on people's everyday workflow. I have to restart InDesign at least 30 times a day due to this bug as my team rely heavily on Libraries. It is a complete joke that Adobe have known about this for nearly a year and have not yet got it resolved so it has obviously not been the priority that you state it has.
You've obviously been working on new stuff and things like being able to search for a swatch in a document are great feature to have but get the core stuff working first!

Hi everyone,
Sorry for the wait - we have posted Ai 25.3 build with the fix, it's been available in Beta section. Please, install it to be unblocked. Animate 21.0.4 build 39603 is available under regular application section in CCD.
The fix in InDesign is coming soon, will post here once it's available on Production.These builds has a fix for the problem when Libraries Panel is getting frozen / wrong scaling while working. We are also working to deliver a fix for the problem when Libraries hang after the machine comes back from sleep.
Sorry for the inconvenience one more time, this issue been the highest priority for the teams. It is not something that we could deliver as an independent update on Libraries side, but this required applications updates, which is currently in progress.
Thank you,
Mariia -

This freeze has been happening to me for months now. Completely ruining my day to day work. Seems like the switch to Figma is inevitable.

@Mariia
Where is the fix???
It's been almost another two months since you last said anything. This is unacceptable.

I am having this same issue with my libraries. Libraries load strangely (often too small for their own window), they don't scroll visually, so when you drag an asset out, you are actually pulling the wrong asset. Only way to fix it is to close and reopen the panel and see where you actually scrolled to. It's like pulling teeth to accomplish basic tasks.

It's a joke that Adobe STILL haven't fixed this which is a core feature of InDesign. Just shows they have absolutely no regard for their customers.

Ok... so I came on here to see if there was a fix for this, having the same problem. I work with a large team of designers and this tool has been such an important feature for us to collaborate.
Looks like the last update hasn't address the issue... so i'm just throwing a comment on this thread in the hope that some one can post a fix. cheers!

Thought this had been fixed in last update but now its back, all other apps are fine with Libraries

I have continued to have this issue for some months now in Adobe Illustrator on any of their updates.
Will a fix be found? I don't want to keep closing out AI and restarting it just to access my Library panel properly.

Same problem here, since months. CC Libraries panel freezes, resizes very big of very small when dragging to second monitor. I've already cleared the cache several times and reinstalled CC Libraries. Nothing helps to fix this problem.

Same problem here and always up to date - currently using illustrator 25.2.

I have the same problem. Need to sign out of Adobe and log back in the make it work.

Hi everyone,
Thanks a lot for reporting this issue and helping us to investigate.
This problem is set to a higher priority and we are trying our best to deliver the fix as soon as possible.
This is something that can't fixed independently on CCLibraries side, but requires applications updates. We will keep this thread updated!This is not ideal, but you can try the workarounds to get unblocked while the fix is on its way:
- unplug external monitor;
- downgrade the application version to the previous;
- set your machine not to go sleep.Apologies for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience!

Come on Adobe, it's now 13th February and the CC Libraries pane in InDesign is practically useless. I rely heavily upon this feature and it's been glitching like this for far too long. It is having an impact on my business, costing me time and causing much frustration. PLEASE FIX!

Hi Mariia -
Any update on this issue? It was identified on 2/4 but a fix has not been released.
This makes creative cloud libraries and their content unusable. I assume this would be classified as the highest priority for a fast tracked fix, since not being able to access or make use of cloud libraries kind of defeats the entire purpose of using creative cloud in the first place.
Three days have elapsed since the problem was identified and meanwhile your customers are left without access to the content they have entrusted Adobe to provide access to is a bit troublesome to me.
