Cannot add graphic elements to InDesign CC Library Assets Panel
InDesign CC 14.0.2 and Mac OS Mojave 10.14.5
InDesign won't allow me to add graphics, character styles, or paragraph styles to CC libraries. I will drag and drop them, or hit the plus at the bottom to add them and it acts like it's doing it and then they never show up. No error message, no spinning color wheel or anything. It WILL however let me add color swatches, text fill colors, & text boxes.
This has not always been a problem - only when I switched from Windows to Mac about a month ago. I have been consistently using these libraries for over a year for the same purpose. We keep our corporate resumes and proposal graphics there for all of our designers to utilize and maintain consistency. Usually the graphic elements include a photo, filled shapes and text all together. We have hundreds of assets in multiple libraries (all owned by me and then shared with the rest of the team) and have never had this problem until now. My colleague can add things to the libraries on his PC no problem.
So far I've logged out and back in to my Adobe CC App, tried creating a new library to add things to (didn't work still), tried adding things in Illustrator and I get the error that I don't have permission/file might be read only and to resave (attached photo). Resaved and tried a brand new document with just a filled square on it to drag in or add with the plus and got the same error message (attached photo). Photoshop would only add color swatches.
Please advise!! This is debilitating to our workflow.

I forgot to add that when I double click an asset to edit it within the library panel, it will let me make changes but anytime I try to save them it crashes indesign. Otherwise it is letting me use the assets already created, I just can't edit them directly or add anything new to the libraries.
